In Indonesia, a school needed to be run by a non profit legal body,  so we started our own called Yayasan Arunika. Our legal status as Yayasan has been granted by the Department of Law in Indonesia. This Yayasan  will be responsible to make sure that the school are running healthily and sustainably.

The board members or the trustees of Yayasan are parents of children in Sekolah Arunika Waldorf. The advisors are several local figures well known in the field of education that help us guide our way in starting the school working with local rules and regulations that can be challenging for us at times.

Yayasan and the school are working together, really tightly in making sure that the school grow healthily, organically and sustainably.
